Who We Are

27+ years of delivering complex and catalytic projects.

In 2020, Daniels-Shumaker and Associates was formed, retaining the same senior management team that has developed award-winning, high-rise projects such as The Mark (F5 Tower), Stadium Place (the Wave and Nolo), and Graystone Condominiums.  The combined architectural and artistic contribution to the Seattle skyline is unmatched.

With a passion for reimagining the future while preserving the past, we are also the only development team to have won three national preservation awards, along with numerous state and local accolades, for the adaptive reuse of the Lodge at St. Edward State Park (St. Edward Seminary), The Sanctuary (First United Methodist Church), Gridiron Condominiums (Seattle Plumbing Building), Starbucks Center (Sears Roebuck), Union Station, Frye Art Museum, Cadillac Hotel, and Merrill Place.

With a portfolio of class ‘A’ accomplishments, Daniels-Shumaker is now focused on providing expert development advisory services to help others achieve positive and lasting results.

Our Expertise

The senior management team at Daniels-Shumaker is known for taking on some of the most difficult projects – and we are proud of the results. This unapparelled experience has resulted in a time tested and time proven expertise that is one-of-a-kind.

Now with a focus on public and private advisory services, we are taking our expertise in entitlements, development, capitalization, and property management on the road.  We want to be the team that helps others succeed in building the next generation of great places.
